Fitness is being physically and mentally able to work through the challenges of life. We must work to get through this life and not be easier than you age. Aging is not for sissies. There are certainly a lot of challenges.
What it means to be in good physical shape is different in different stages of life. Whatever we do is obvious that decreases fitness with age. You're not so fast and lose aerobic capacity. And no matter what exercise you can not open the bottles of olive oil once I did because it decreases muscle strength. their bones are less dense and metabolism slows.The good news is that exercise can minimize Most of these losses. Nevertheless, we must work.
There are even new evidence that you're never too old to exercise. A recent Israeli study showed that people over age 70 live longer and better if they are physically active for at least four hours per week. Active senior has been 31 percent to 58 percent less likely to die during the study than their sedentary counterparts. With all the difficult situations facing us in our everyday environment: high unemployment, shortages of resources, increased pressure and stress in the workplace, the ongoing wars, the decline of safety nets in our communities through charities and social services and of an imminent pandemic, combined with shortages of vaccines, it is not surprising that many of us are concerned. At the same time, evidence has continued to show that being optimistic is a good thing. In view of this, I thought a quick update some of the latest research related to health and optimism could be timely. The question is, "Can you think of yourself to better health? "While the answer to that question is not absolutely clear, the jury is out on whether there is a link between health and optimism.
Here are some the most impressive of related studies have emerged in recent years: As part of the Women's Health Initiative, a study of fifteen he initiated by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a group of researchers analyzed eight years of data on 97,253 women aged 50 years and more involved in the study. Their findings, published in March in the Conference of the American Psychosomatic Society in Chicago by Hilary Tindale, MD, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, showed that rates age-adjusted coronary heart disease increased significantly with decreasing levels of optimism, and decreased significantly with decreasing levels of hostility. Compared with women in the study who are more pessimistic, optimistic women were 30% less likely to die from heart disease and 33% less likely to die from all causes. These effects were particularly pronounced in African American women.
Other studies focusing on specific conditions Doctors have also demonstrated a clear positive link between optimism and outcomes. In one study, 309 middle-aged patients who were scheduled for surgery coronary revascularization were evaluated by doctors before the operation with only the usual physical examination but also by the administration of a psychological test designed to measure optimism, depression, self-esteem and neurosis. The researchers then continued to monitor the patients for six months after surgery. They found that those who scored high on the optimism scale were 50% less likely to be hospitalized again for that time period. Optimism was also found that similar protection in a study of 298 patents angioplasty. The pessimists in this group were three times more likely to require re-hospitalization, a repeat angioplasty procedure or bypass surgery during the next six months than their cohorts more optimistic.
The optimism seems to make a difference with cancer patients as well. In a study published last year in the Journal of Pain and Management symptoms, Dr. Margaret E. Kurtz and his team of researchers from Michigan State University in East Lansing, found that in a group of 214 patients undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, those who scored high on optimism about the pre-tests reported experiencing less severe pain during the week sixteen. Interestingly, patients in this study, which had high scores in the "domain" and optimism, reported a double bonus, less fatigue (also usually caused by chemotherapy), and pain less intense.
Many more examples are available, as are questions about cause and effect against the association, but there is no doubt that optimism can be good for many reasons, including its possible protective effect on health and longevity. What can be done to be more optimistic? Here are three quick tips:

1. Surround yourself with positive people. Find and develop a positive work environment. That is a criteria when interviewing for a new position, especially those who seek work more closely. Share this article with your spouse, family or closest friends and encourage them to work with you to develop an environment more optimistic and positive.
2. Monitor you own internal dialogue. If you tend to see the glass half empty, or if you are complaining a lot and become a "Eeyore" replace negative self-conscious with more positive alternatives. For example, instead of saying to yourself, "I'll never get it," intends "will other opportunities. "Or, instead of," I'll never be able to do through this ", you could try," I've handled things difficult before, I agree with this too. "
3. Keep a record of "optimism." Once a day (at night before going to bed is ideal), list at least three good things about your day. That things can be relatively large, such as: "My presentation was great, and everybody congratulated me, "or small", which finally stopped raining, but start to write down. This will help you notice and remember all the good things in your world, enliven the spirit and remind you to be happy and positive.

People live longer because people know much more than before. The base of unique information is more accessible to all. The following list shows people with a better understanding and defines three methods to live longer.
We hope you can live a long life. Aging is really a self-fulfilling prophecy. How long you live may be the direct result of their expectations. If you think you are dead at age 60 or 70, or 80, then it is probably true. My mother bought me this Philosophy Face Wash acne and this hope in a bottle of stuff to help me get rid of my acne. Does this work?
If you mean hope in a jar … not exactly designed to treat acne. Creams generally well tolerated, but hope in a jar has not worked for me. My face was dry and pasty, and finally I noticed no improvement on my breaks … in fact worsened. But maybe someone else has a success story! If you have any really horrible outbreaks strongly suggest an appointment with a dermatologist well. A general practitioner, it is likely that only waste your time and energy on products that are not fully updated. Save time and pain and seriously consider making an appointment. The sooner the better.
